buell is an American brand created by Erik Buell, a talented engineer who had worked at Harley-Davidson. For a long time, Buell models were powered by Harley engines, which were seriously tuned for extra power and inimitable character. Stricken by the 2008 crisis and the end of MoCo support, the brand came to a halt in 2009. Erik Buell rebounded by creating EBR, which in turn went under in 2017.
buell was revived in 2021 by Bill Melvin of Liquid Asset Partners. The businessman had already bought EBR in 2018. But Erik Buell is no longer part of the story. The latter has embarked on a new challenge with the Fuell company.
