Motorcycle specifications Harley-Davidson1745 Softail Standard FXST 2021 The Big Block starts here.
presentation of the 1745 Softail Standard FXST 2021
Stripped back, uncluttered, bobberized, unaccoutered, this Softail achieves pure emotion in this Standard expression. It's as simple as it gets: this is a Harley! Nothing less, and certainly nothing more.
With its 1745 cm3 engine and entry-level price, the Softail Standard becomes the gateway to the Big Block. Intended for the appropriation of the American myth, it doesn't bother with frills, dressing or finery. Let alone a passenger. It seems to whisper beneath the chrome that the only thing that counts is driving.
The emphasis is on M8 107 ci. Spitting out 86 hp here, the American twin makes a point of distributing little vibration at idle, waking it up as the revs rise, then demonstrating its strength with a maximum torque of 14.7 mkg at just 3250 rpm. A generous hand for one of the lightest bikes in its family. But despite its minimalism, truncated rear end, single-disc front end with mudguard reduced to a cap, single-seat design and 16-liter fuel tank, the Softail Standard is very close to three quintals.

Instrumentation is kept to a minimum, and neophytes might even think that the shocks have been removed. No, like the Softail that it is, the Standard has a deceptively rigid rear end, with a shock absorber hidden under the seat.
It feigns simplicity, because it's particularly designed for customization. It's almost like a lump of clay that can be shaped to suit your own tastes, your own measurements, your own vision or your own extravagance. A blackboard where paints, patterns and accessories create the psychotic fruit of ebullient creativity.
The choice is yours: leave it plain or spice it up.
This Softail gives you a taste of the M8 engine at a price that's pretty good for a big Harley custom. A big potato cooked under the ashes, without the need to peel off the skin. All that's left is to decide whether to crunch it or spread it.

Bikers' reviews Leave a review - 5 reviews
You've got to stop hiding behind standards or inflation for a while, it's getting to be really abusive, we're almost reaching the price of a low rider S, whereas the Softail Standard was the softail accessible with the street bob just 2 years ago (and I say that as a sportser owner, not as a Japanese owner who spits on the brand) Rating : 5/5 Respond to BelzePit
i've had the experience of taking a softfail heritage for this mythical route, but it's not easy to drive and the weight is too heavy
i'm comparing it with the sportet 883 model, which is lower and has a better handlebar position
can you give me some information
thanks in advance Rating : 5/5 Respond to franbab
otherwise, I don't agree, it's very maneuverable Rating : 5/5 Respond to Pat
