presentation of the SRK 800 RR 2024
Chinese players have recently decided to seriously move upmarket. QJ Motor is rapidly moving towards "high" medium-displacement bikes, capable of capturing a wider customer base and establishing a stronger market presence. The SRT 700 and SRT 800 trail bikes are showing their teeth with their twins. This time, it's the SRK 800 RR, a sports bike in this displacement bracket. A big sister to the SRK 600 RR, a little short on power.
Contrary to what you might think, the eight-hundred doesn't use the SRT 800's block, but is fitted with a new 4-cylinder engine. The ideal kind of powertrain for finding lots of watts. Inspired by the Honda CBR 650 R block, the Chinese engine lengthens the piston stroke by 10 mm to 778 cm3.
Knowing that a Kawasaki ZX-6R 636 spits out 124 horsepower, we'd expect a lot more grunt. But the Chinese and power, that makes two. Even if the 800 is stronger than the CBR's moulbif, it only produces 102 hp at 10,000 rpm. For Europe, it's reduced to 95 hp to validate the possibility of an A2 bridle. Admittedly, this allows you to start having fun, but the output is far from exciting. Its maximum torque of 8 mkg is reached at 8,500 rpm.
It's a pity, because the SRK 800 RR isn't a bad-looking bike, with its false Panigale look. The little winglets, the inverted fork, the 4-piston radial brake calipers, the sports brake fluid reservoir, the S 1000 RR-style gash on the forehead - the design is dynamic, under the guise of European "inspiration".

Electronic equipment is not as extensive as on today's pure sports bikes, but it's rather generous for this machine's position. The SRK 800 RR offers two riding modes (Normal / Sport), disengageable traction control, ABS, tire pressure monitoring and a 5-inch TFT display.
As always, the unbeatable argument is the price. The SRK 800 RR will go on sale at 52,999 yuan, or around 6,800 euros. Put into perspective with local wages, estimated at 9,000 yuan a month. Its sale in France is no longer as affordable. As always, the price swells as you pass through customs, standards and strategies, ending up at the 9,000-euro mark.
qJ Motor is also said to have a large sports bike in the pipeline, powered by the powerful MV-Agusta 1000 Brutale engine. On the Italian model, it delivers no less than 208 hp, higher than that of an R1 or ZX-10R. Except that power here is said to be around 120 hp.

Bikers' reviews Leave a review - 2 reviews
R7:I liked it, except for the too-radical position. Gsx 8 r:I didn't like the engine, which didn't deliver the feel I wanted.
650 cbr:I hated its engine, which was anemic at low revs and explosive from 70,000 rpm. 650 ninja:weak engine.
660 daytona: I loved it even though it was A2 bridled. I tried the srk (the "chinoiseries" ritornello) out of conscience. And I loved it.
The position is not tiring, and the suspension and seat are really comfortable.
The engine is great: supple, like any good 4-cylinder, and especially torquey from low revs, which is rare for an "average" in-line 4. The extension is certainly not that of a 636 zxr, but more than enough for me (we're not always at 12,000 rpm....
It's easy to get used to, very easy to angle, and doesn't feel heavy at all. In short, I can't find much wrong with this bike, apart from an (almost) over-reactive right-hand grip response, even in normal mode (the sport mode is useless in my opinion). I have a dealer 15kms from home.
All this for over 1,000 euros less than the competition (I even got a bit more by negotiating). The grumpy ones will of course mention the discount on resale... Rating : 4/5 Respond to Olivier 63
