while the Japanese are developing 4-stroke 125 twins galore, Aprilia is motorizing its custom with a high-performance 2-stroke single. Admittedly, this doesn't really suit a custom bike, but the manufacturer has taken care to play with aesthetics and tricks to "hide" the engine. Well done, all the more so as this is an attractive, easy-to-handle machine with very serene handling. The disadvantages of this engine are its unflattering noise and much higher fuel consumption than a 4T. In terms of performance, the Classic is unbeatable in its class. The weight doesn't make itself felt, although the suspension lacks suppleness. Braking is convincing and the bike is easy to access. A wise choice for those who don't mind the "2T footprint". Its 3-year warranty is an added bonus.

I've had an Aprilia 125 classic for 4 years, and I'm very happy with it. Sturdy, simple, good handling and, for a 125, a good little potato. On the downside, it's 110 km/h max, but if you want speed, you've got to get a license. Low maintenance, 1500 euros second-hand, economical bike. I'm a fan. To respond to motard 17's comment, your Aprilia hasn't really been economical since its purchase, a real ruin in parts and M.O., reliability not being its strong point!then, as the owner of a 125 Rebel, it only cost me the cost of a clutch cable (9â'¬) in 30,000 km, and as for its original 11 hp, I increased it to 15 hp simply by changing my air filter (10â'¬), modifying the exhaust baffles and adjusting the carburettor, which brought it well up to the level of your Aprilia in terms of power, and then we'll talk about fuel consumption 3.4L for the Honda versus 5L, which also makes a difference. Hello all aprilia classic custom 125 1997 bikers, this is an excellent bike, responsive for an exceptional 2-stroke, very solid engine, I've got 15650kms on the odometer and it's running like clockwork, God knows I've met a lot of people and ridden it, but biker friends, if you can shed some light on this, I've got a problem: as soon as I switch on the ignition, I press the button to start it button to start it, it goes tic tic tic tic at the starter relay I changed my starter relay, it always does the same thing the dealership told me it could be your battery, I've just put in a new one, still the same, so my colleagues, I'm drying out here, I can't see where it could be coming from, I'm thinking of the starter, but ???????or the starter button which doesn't make enough contact any more I don't know I'll see biker friends if you have a good solution for this one who is mechanically savvy it would be super nice to inform me please before I go to the dealership and who are going to murder me price-wise on this biker friends I wish you my sincerest regards cordially western and remember be careful 05/09/2017 00:45 Rating : 5/5 Respond to western

i had the opportunity to try out a 125 cm3 APRILLA CLASSIC model, custom .... more than surprising this little machine !!! it's a far cry from the 125 scooter, Chinese or Korean 4-stroke !!! 140 km/h odometer... a good 125/130

hello,

i see it's a 2-stroke engine. how does it work? do you have to mix the oil every time you fill up (like on a moped) or is there an oil tank (like on the 127 GT suzuki)?
