Aston Martin is one of the great names in British motoring. This is not limited to 4-wheelers, as demonstrated by theAMB 001 presented in 2020. A sports car for exclusive use, designed without road restrictions and guided by breath rather than reason or marketing.
Its successor promises to be radical. Aston now wants to go further with the PRO version. Further? Faster? Stronger above all!

Brough Superior is Aston Martin's partner for theAMB 001 and its PRO offspring. The two entities collaborate on the design, then the Toulouse-based company takes charge of manufacturing these very special motorcycles. The agreement is renewed between the protagonists to offer a machine that's faster, meaner, and as conceptually offbeat as ever. Designed in a bio-proteriform definition, with both hydro and aerodynamic profiles, this eyeless motorcycle hides its seduction beneath highly technical solutions.

Conceptual art reveals itself by patiently sliding its curiosity over and under the almost ethereal forms. The machine is keen to prove its family spirit, taking its inspiration from the Valkyrie AMR Pro - a car originally intended for the 24 Hours of Le Mans, with performance close to that of a Formula 1 car.
The thrill is palpable, the track foam flush with the fins. The AMB 001 Pro's carbon skin is fitted with a series of protrusions designed to optimize airflow. The front cowling is now attached to the structure rather than to the front axle. The aim of all these appendages is to increase the downforce on the bike, so that it can be pressed more firmly to the ground, while the rear wing provides greater stability.

Because this Franco-British bike is going to kick ass. By reworking the engine and its supercharger, engineers have given it 25% more power. This 997 cm3 twin now produces 225 horsepower, compared with 180 on the first AMB. Quite a powerplant, worthy of the best hypersports models on the market. The block benefits from a new design, with AL5000 aluminum crankcases cut from the mass. The CNC work is absolutely sublime. The slightest trace of oil will make you sick. The cylinders benefit from improved cooling. As for exhaust evacuation, this no longer takes place in the engine hoof, but under the thigh. The silencer is now located high up on the left-hand side.

The rims are made of carbon, with very different profiles: spoked for the front, solid disc for the rear.
In the middle of the year, Brough Superior announces an aero update with an aerodynamic kit including new side wings, a new front spoiler and a new windscreen, all of which collectively increase downforce.

for added prestige, the Gaydon-based brand is showcasing its chemically etched aluminum crest, a process that saves 99.4% in weight compared to the traditional enamel logo. Its thickness is just 70 microns. Something we couldn't care less about, but which illustrates the level of luxury the manufacturer stands for. More significantly, the Pro weighs 5 kilos less than the AMB 001. And given that it's powered by 45 more horsepower, you'd be forgiven for thinking that it's capable of a formidable level of sensations.

The frame uses the same technology as the previous AMB, with a carbon/aluminium structure and a spectacular Fior-type fork. Two 320 mm discs with 4-piston radial calipers are there to stop this turbo-compressed cheetah. As well as its sporting potential, every part and component has been meticulously crafted.

88 units of the Aston Martin AMB 001 Pro will be produced. You'll have to sell your (large) apartment to buy one. It's unlikely to make more than a few appearances on the racetrack, as the machine is destined more for collections or art galleries.
