presentation of the R 1200 CL 2002
a big cruiser for the long haul, that's how you could describe the R 1200 CL. This distinctively styled BM looks across the Atlantic to encroach on Harley's hunting ground. In fact, this CL is reminiscent of an Electra Glide cooked up in Munich style; a machine designed for long rides on tarmac roads. With its huge fork head and large rear-view mirrors, on-board protection is royal. The torturously shaped bubble is as effective as you could wish, and the hollow in its center is a plus for vision, allowing the visor to be raised without untimely swirling. Low and comfortable, the saddle's comfort is a priority for both rider and passenger. They won't even be bothered by the suspension, which is on the same level. It's clear: when it comes to life on board, the CL is an imperial rival to the K 1200 LT and the Goldwing. Where it really shines is in dynamics. In the States, we love big tires. No problem: BM has rigged a huge 150-wide bead in front. A real eye-catcher! But it's a bit sloppy. OK, the CL's handling is nothing like that of a supersport, but you can get annoyed by this lack of agility. The turning radius? No, frankly, I'd rather not talk about that. Harley owners won't look at such flaws if they're interested in the machine. Where they're likely to take issue is with the CL's 1200 boxer.

I mistakenly reversed the battery terminals on the side stand (not directly on the battery)
I currently have no power supply
No fuse has been destroyed on the 2 control boxes under the tank
Is there a fuse box for the starter motor? AND where would it be?
Could the battery have been destroyed in this operation?
