presentation of the S 1000 RR Factory SUPERBIKE 2010
2nd year of participation in the World Superbike Championship for the BMW S 1000 RR. The German rocket has already made a name for itself in 2009, but the bike is still young and can't yet claim to outstrip the avant-garde. At Mûnich, we don't intend to wait vitam aeternam for results. The WSBK 2010 version of the S 1000 RR has already undergone a number of modifications. The all-carbon fairing is decked out in the same wartime colors, with a new guest sponsor: 3asy Ride.com. On the chassis side, the swingarm is completely new and lighter, with modified torsional rigidity values. Brembo brake calipers and master cylinders have been replaced by Nissin. Suspension remains Öhlins' top priority, including this magnificent pressurized inverted fork straight from MotoGP. On-board electronics have been fine-tuned, with more efficient management of the 210 horsepower announced. Troy Corser and Rubens Xaus are back for 2010 on the German bike, which is formidable on any track, but has to contend with some exceptionally efficient competition.
