the second episode in BMW's Black series. No connection with the godfather of Harry Potter, but a special finish for a specific model. a more adventurous version of the big Behemoth trailor, the Adventure in this particular series benefits from a dark paintwork highlighted by touches of grey: sapphire Black to darken the engine, various body components and the fork arms completely - the frame and Paralever swingarm come in Asphalt Grey Metallic. A teardrop of Granite Grey Metallic settles on the cylinder head covers of the flat twin, recently upgraded to double ACT.
Each cylinder head now houses two overhead camshafts. Intake and valve-head diameters have been increased, pistons and combustion chambers redesigned, and an exhaust valve has been added.the result is a more vigorous Bavarian flat-bed. It can rev up to 500 rpm, or 8500 rpm. Power is up to 110 hp (+ 5%) and torque is up by a good half mkg.
this rather special Adventure edition isn't quite as interesting as its predecessor, however: the 1200 GS 2010 Triple Black also benefited from special wheels, a 3D logo on the seat and a premium pack.
This almost intimidating color adds a touch of bitterness that's rather pleasant for a motorcycle with the scent of desert and escapade. Remembering that its CV is just right for it.
