nine t oui mais

This bike has a major fault: a huge suspension mismatch between a fork that's too soft and works too hard, and a rear shock that's too hard and doesn't do anything, resulting in dangerous behavior in certain situations.
The solution is to change the fork springs and the oil (10 instead of 0.75) and the bike becomes unrecognizable: the fork works better and the rear shock finally does its job; finally, you have to lower the front slightly to improve the bike's rideability
Now I'm enjoying my nine t

Why are you lowering the front? I wanted to lower the rear by 2.5 cm and lower the handlebars. What do you think? Rating : 3/5
French
If you lower the rear, you increase the caster and therefore increase stability at the expense of agility, depending on what you're looking for
I lowered the front by 5mms because with harder fork springs, the front rises slightly as the fork sinks less, thus correcting the balance to restore handling and liveliness on corner entry
now the handling is perfect

Hello,

I've had mine since the end of March, 3500kms of happiness.
A few modifications are planned for the end of the month, windscreen, drag bar handlebar, plate holder, all from Rizoma. I'm reluctant to fit thermal strips, for fear of damaging the engine... if anyone has an opinion.ARVERNE93 have you managed to launch your forum, I can't connect to it.
Bonne route à tous.

Hi there,

I'll have a look at the forum, but I'm having problems logging in too. There may be easier ways, I'll see.

For the thermal strips, I saw somewhere that it would not be advisable since it would limit the cooling of the pots at the cylinder outlet, which doesn't seem silly to me.
However, I don't have any information, what does BM say?

Hi there,

My concess doesn't know about the thermal strips, in doubt I'm thinking of leaving it without until I get more feedback on this assembly.
i look forward to your news for the forum.

French Model 2014
When I saw the presentation, I wanted it desperately. Then I tried it as soon as it came out. Ride: perfect (too much so?) - Noise: not great, but it's already better - Braking: tip-top.
conclusion: a good bike, with a few plastics that could have been avoided. A sort of mix of quality and frills that don't breathe durability.
for the moment, I've got a Harley (after numerous japs) that I was thinking of selling, and well... I'm waiting until I'm older, because it's not a bike that makes me happy!

It's true that there's less steel than on a hd, but this is a sportster with 30kg less weight, 50 hp more power, much more comfort, better roadholding and braking, and we're continuing the comparison with a fat bob? Same price, but 90 kg less, etc. I've changed and I don't regret it. Rating : 4/5
