BMW introduces strategic models in 2014: the S 1000 RR roadster finally arrives and sets the bar very high. An untouchable road-going vessel, the R 1200 RT gains new-generation boxer styling, as does the R 1200 GS Adventure. The K 1600 GT is available in two new versions: a Sport, and a royally equipped Exclusive.

At high engine speeds (>= 12,500 rpm), the oil filter's screw connection may come loose, causing oil to leak from the oil filter. This can lead to oil deposits on the road, creating slippery sections and increasing the risk of accidents and injuries.
