French Model 2008
A motorcycle made to compete with the ubiquitous Varadero, the Terra is more than capable of doing so, thanks to its greater versatility: lightness and stability, good comfort once you've found the right position (tucking in the pelvis), an engine that's responsive at higher revs and fairly supple at lower speeds after a few thousand kilometers of careful running-in, proven reliability, good off-roading unlike the Honda, a real traveler thanks to its inexhaustible engine (cruising at 110km/h) and good suspension... The only problem is the quality of certain steels (pot, handlebars and bolts), but all you have to do is treat it in time (rustproofing and/or paintwork, lubrication, better-quality handlebars...), which is what my son did, and it's done. I like to "steal" it from him sometimes, even though I'm used to much bigger bikes. Very good value for money at the moment. We recommend it. Fuel consumption a little high for a single, but no higher than that of its main competitor. Rating : 4/5
