presentation of the X-01 2025
Electric motorcycle creativity is highly eclectic. Brands and ideas are multiplying, but it's an arduous journey from project to reality to market. Not to mention the wild projections created for the sake of showing off.
Where will the new Diem brand fit in?
For the moment, it's in the development and projection of the future with its X-01 concept. A finely crafted electric sports car with mysterious prospects. Indeed, the Danish company is stingy with information.
However, we can already appreciate the styling of this machine. The look is dynamic and the technical solutions flattering. At the front, the X-01 features an inverted Showa fork and Brembo Stylema brake calipers. That's a lot of gear for a motorcycle of just 35 kW. Yes, just shy of the A2 limit. In this way, Diem shows the audience it is targeting for its future.
The X-01 also stands out with a single-sided swingarm, beautiful handlebar controls, a futuristic rear hull, a carefully dressed belly to hide the battery, a premium saddle (suede, it seems) and a rear-wheel-mounted motor.
A future?
This X-01 concept puts Diem's vision into perspective, but with very little technical data. The brand makes up for this by pointing out that most of the bike's process and components are developed in-house. Now it's time to convince investors.
