Sometimes it's too good to be true.
Druid Motorcycles joins the growing family of electric motorcycle projects. But it has two cards up its sleeve: a hybrid concept with an electron motor combined with a twin-cylinder combustion engine, and the XEV full elec model shown here.

an aggressive roadster, with a hint of the Kawasaki Z or Versys. A tortured fork head, a KTM-style swingarm, a big, square belly where the battery sits... The harmony of the design is a little hard to pin down. Strangely enough, this bike is a total copy-paste of a Zontes 310 X... right down to the last bolt.
The focus is on the motorization, on-board electronics and the frame. The latter is made of graphene, built using a 3D printing process and designed with variable geometry.
The Sorcerer claims to be capable of intelligence and learning, as it is equipped with an A.I., advanced connectivity and powerful algorithms to adjust its performance.

the machine is cautious, but strong at the same time. The watts are there to ensure a firm grip between the rubber and the road. 150 horses are at your disposal.
A host of questions remain unanswered about the viability of this Druid, announced for 2020. Except for the price, which is already available. The Sorcerer XEV is backed by an affordable $7,900 price tag. Unrealistic today, highly unlikely tomorrow.
