A few setbacks decided otherwise, but the "Martinator" is first and foremost a Ducati rider. And the brand has decided to showcase him on a special Panigale V4 S series.

The Panigale V4 Martín Racing Replica features the official colors of the Prima Pramac team's Desmosedici GP, and is made even more desirable with a whole range of racing parts. Technical equipment includes the adoption of an STM-EVO SBK nine-disc dry clutch and an Akrapovic-approved twin silencer, 2 kg lighter than the standard Panigale V4 package. The Brembo braking system is reinforced by Stylema R calipers and an MCS master cylinder with brake-shift adjustment. The adjustable footrests are made of Rizoma aluminum. The bubble is a racing version.

So much for the highlights. A little more detail reveals a whole pack of carbon parts: the exhaust manifold heat shield, alternator protection, front and rear mudguards and front brake hose sheaths, all in carbon fiber. The swingarm protection is also in carbon fiber, combined with titanium.

Then comes a series of accessories, such as the carbon open clutch cover, kits for removing the number-plate bracket and rear-view mirrors, the machined aluminum racing fuel filler cap and the GPS module, which displays lap and split times achieved on the track on the dashboard.

Richly endowed, the Bologna Superbike will now receive everything it needs to be exclusive, collectible and very expensive. Its upper aluminium fork crown is laser-engraved with the model name, the rider's race number and the progressive number of its limited series - 189 examples of this Martin Replica will be produced.
Each one will be made unique by the driver's original autograph on the tank, which will then be varnished. To ensure pedigree, each bike will be supplied with a certificate of authenticity.

ducati pushes the precious side of the bike to the limit, because it all starts before you even discover it. The Panigale will be delivered in a special wooden crate with dedicated graphics and a personalized bike bag. Start-up follows the same philosophy, with a dedicated key and an animation on the dashboard during initialization. What's more, the saddle is made from a special material, with the rider's logo just like on the racing bike.

Too bad there's no special "Zarco" edition for France. That would have been nice, though: all you had to do was change the number, retouch the Laser's trajectory and call on the pen of our national Johann, who finally won a GP in Australia.
The Panigale 1100 V4 S "Martin" is priced at a staggering 68,000 euros, the same as its Panigale Bautista Replica sibling and slightly more than double the price of a production V4 S.
