Ducati Japan releases a very limited series of Monster SP, in collaboration with Capcom - the famous video game publisher. The company is famous for such hits as "Ghouls'n Ghosts", the "Street Fighter" saga, "Resident Evil", "Mega Man"....

And the one we're most interested in is the "Monster Hunter" action-RPG series. The game puts you in the shoes of a monster hunter, with a host of quests and adventures. So what better way to promote the game than with a Monster during the Tokyo Game Show 2024?

Ducati and Capcom presented a Monster SP (the one with Öhlins suspension, Termignoni carbon pots and Stylema brakes) decorated in the image of one of the game's creatures: "Fatalis", one of the most famous dragons in this universe. The Ducati Monster Hunter is here to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the franchise. And to mark the occasion, only 20 units will be produced. By order only.

As a little bonus, the first 100 people (at each Japanese dealer) to test-drive a Bologna machine in October will receive a special sticker representing the alliance between the dragon and the Italian brand.

This is not the first cooperation between the two sponsoring companies. For the 10th anniversary of the game, a special series of Monster 1200s was released, customized in the image of the "Rioreus" monster.

The Ducati Monster SP "Monster Hunter" 20th Anniversary Limited Edition will sell for 2,622,000 yen, or around 16,400 euros. That's 752,000 yen more than the Monster SP (still 4,700 euros). There are no joysticks or mice with the Bologna roadster, but 111 horsepower driven by a characterful twin, a good dose of electronics calibrated accordingly, and just 186 kg on the roads of the archipelago.
