What would a pop star be without his gimmicks? What would the most strutting of dandies be without his clothes? Who would watch TPMP if it had some intelligence? In this world where image is more important than reality, a motorcycle can also be the object of a passion where its nature is not enough. It needs more! For some, performance; for others, make-up; for anyone, embellishment.

Accessories are plentiful in shops and brands. One of the most renowned for high-end accessorizing is in Italy, and is called Rizoma. Its niche? Cut-to-size aluminum parts, beauty and glamour. Something to do with Italian haute couture. And in this little game, another compatriot brand likes to show off.

A waltz between Rizoma and Ducati has resulted in a very special Scrambler. A limited edition to celebrate the 10th anniversary of one of Bologna's funniest bikes. From this whirlwind emerged a black lacquer dress supervised by white mother-of-pearl, sprinkled with pink and metallic moments. A perfect or made-for-Instagram damsel, flashing before she's even opened the ball or the connecting rods.

the additional parts seem to want to enhance Rizoma more than the Scrambler. He lets them, knowing that his revenge will be his as soon as the twin is started. In detail, the body receives :

- In machined aluminum finish :

• Front clutch and brake levers
• Clutch and front brake master cylinder caps
• Fuel filler cap
• Passenger footrests
  

- In MetalRose machined aluminum finish:

• Windscreen
• Timing belt covers
• Frame covers
• Engine inspection covers
• Rider footrests

As well as other parts, but this time from the Ducati Performance department: turn signals, a dedicated saddle and handlebar-mounted mirrors.
A matching Araï helmet has been developed to accompany the bike.

Once installed, the Rizoma-branded roadster becomes a Strambler once again, with its good old air-cooled Desmo twin, not very powerful but still a hardy performer. It's a relaxed machine par excellence, but one that doesn't forget to be technological, with three riding modes, cornering ABS, traction control, a 4.3" color TFT screen and a USB socket under the seat.

Each of the 500 Scramber 10° Anniversario Rizoma Edition models will be numbered. Decked out in its aluminum jewels, it inflates its price tag, as Ducati knows so well how to do. But even though it's priced like a Monster SP or a 990 Duke, Ducati will have no trouble selling this 73-strong roadster
