presentation of the 1100 MONSTER DIESEL 2012
first of all, come to your senses! Take a deep breath, stop strangling the cat and stop eating the latest issue of 'gasoil magazine'. This Ducati runs on petrol, not diesel (half diesel / half fuel oil). The 1100 Monster Diesel (pronounced dizeul) is a limited series created in partnership with the famous Italian clothing brand.
The manufacturer of jeans, perfumes, etc. has been working with Ducat since 2011 to supply clothing for MotoGP. The partnership is now strengthened with this military-style Monster. The khaki dress is much more sober than Diesel's provocative advertising campaigns. Frame, rims and forks are black, reinforcing the 'military urban chic' identity - yet another pompous term from a coked-up stylist with an uninterpretable reality. Dipped in bright yellow, Brembo brake calipers become the Monster's ultra-fashionable touch. A series of accessories complete the Monster Diesel: a padded saddle, strange protectors on the exhausts and speedometer block, a set of engraved 'only the brave' plates covering the tank gills, a new seat cover adorned with a numbered medallion and backed by a 'Renzo Rosso' - the man who founded the company in 1978.
At the same time, Diesel presents a new collection of Ducati-branded clothing. It will be on sale in its stores, on the web, and in selected dealerships.
