A layer of vanilla on a lemon meringue layered on a caramel topping, this is a tasting of colors offered by this new version of the 800 Scrambler. We owe this"West Coast of the 70s" color scheme to Californian designer Roland Sand.
Identity demands more. So, the Scrambler Mach 2.0 gets the Flat Track Pro seat, rides with variable-section aluminum handlebars, benefits from café-racer-style brushed-aluminum engine cooling fins, and anodizes its exhaust and cylinder head covers in black. Style aside, Ducati continues to delve into its history to fuel fashion.

the acronym Mach 2 has all the makings of a provocation. A call to speed, for twice the speed of sound, when the philosophy of this Scrambler is dedicated to bucolic, playful riding pleasure?! Strange. A nod to the 1972 Kawasaki S2 350 Mach II? Unthinkable. Let's be more precise and take the De Lorean: this name refers to the famous 1965 Ducati Mach 1, one of the best 250 sports bikes of its time. And equipped with the same engine as the Scrambler 250 of the time.

fortunately, the Scrambler Mach 2.0's technology is more advanced than that of the Mach 1, but not too much so to stay in the neo-retro vein. Its air-cooled L-twin, with 2 valves per cylinder, smacks of the 90s. With 73 horsepower, it offers plenty of fun, plenty of fresh air and plenty of scope for everyday riding. You don't need anything more, and we wouldn't ask for anything less. Its upside-down forks and trellis frame ensure a smooth ride, offering fun, joy and just the right amount of rigor.
This new model is not intended to shake up the already well-established range. Just a more pronounced western flavor.
