the new 950 S Multistrada is less powerful than the 1260 S, but comes with equipment that is much closer to its predecessor. It's enough to treat yourself to a good dose of Ducati premium, trail-style. Still, it's a pretty hefty price to pay for a mid-size trail bike. If you widen your field of vision, you can see that the competition is much more affordable; even a Tiger 800 XRt seems reasonable by comparison. You'd have to go to MV-Agusta to find anything more expensive. This gives us a pretty good idea of the positioning of this MTS 950 S.
