Dark is not a Ducati color. It's more akin to a philosophy. The idea is to offer the essentials of the machine without the prestige of the shine. In short, you get the wheel, its character, its efficiency, but it's less flashy. Though....
For some enthusiasts, black asserts or confirms a personality. Think of the Dark Customs of a certain American brand. Is the same true for the little Ducat'? The 800 Scrambler, like others before it(848, Diavel, Monster...), goes into the dark room.

But.... Is gray the right color for a motorcycle that preaches, proclaims and lives joy and carefreeness? Tart colors suit it so well. Citrus fruits and sunshine are the perfect companions for this playful, bubbly machine. But is the Scrambler Dark sad? Far from it.
Its 73 twin will always do its utmost to deliver sweet and oh-so-voluble acceleration. No need to worry about Euro5; it passes the standard like the rest of the family. This machine is renowned for its ease of use and playfulness. With these fundamentals as a priority, the price has also been reduced by 500 euros.

Without compromising on on-board equipment. This Shore Nights Scrambler is also equipped with a minimalist tubular steel trellis frame, 41 mm inverted forks, one brake disc per wheel, treaded tires, cornering ABS, a small round remote speedometer with LCD window, machining touches on the cooling fins, aluminum belt covers and crankcases, etc.... It's the same as the Icon, I tell you - just less expensive and less funky.
Above all, it's got the same fun-loving face that instantly makes you want to have fun. It smells like vacation, projected from a black-and-white film.
