Motorcycle specifications Harley-Davidson1584 ROAD KING CLASSIC FLHRCI 2010 Flirting with her majesty
presentation of the 1584 ROAD KING CLASSIC FLHRCI 2010
while the standard Road King takes you cruising on long highways with a less liner-like style than the Electra Glide, its Classic version takes on this mission with a more retro flavour. Even before you get on it, the charm takes effect. Chrome, whitewall tires, a large windshield with no fork head to weigh down the lines, leather panniers (rigid on the standard King) to carry a few items of luggage, a comfortable seat and a devastating look... no doubt about it, you're on one of these road-going vessels that are the pride of America. The wide handlebars, long running boards and large windscreen make for a senatorial ride. For purists who prefer the whip of the wind, it only takes a few moments to remove the windscreen, leaving the superb headlamp cowling and triple-lens facia in full view. The soft ride of the Road King Classic can also be enjoyed with the Twin Cam 96. The 1584 shows itself to be even braver and more endearing. The torque, the noise, the slightly shrunken muscle are all orchestrated so that all that remains is the pleasure of driving. Handling has been significantly improved in 2009 thanks to a new chassis adopted by the entire Touring range. 30% more rigidity for a more serene ride. Controlled vibrations, the velvety feel of cruising and the nostalgic silhouette of the Classic will give you allure without the need to force the pace. By 2008, safety had already gone up a notch, with a particularly well-integrated ABS available as an option.

i only added the passenger seat and the automatic battery fetch
i took the basic version with lockable abs saddlebags and alloy wheels (easier to clean)
since then, I've done 8000 km, always on short rides, max 150 km in a row
it took me about 3000 km to get used to it, as it's heavy, especially at low speeds (roundabouts, maneuvers at a standstill)
before I had a fazer 600, so a bicycle
this hd is magnificent and easy to maintain with a simple microfiber cloth and tile spray
the chromes don't move
of course, it's not a fighter jet, but when you open it up wide, it pushes hard enough, even with a passenger
holds the road well, brakes moderately
great comfort with a very restful position
you're well sheltered behind the windscreen and can drive with the visor open
the engine is a delight to open the throttle on
the noise isn't too noticeable; vibrations are felt a little slower but are not unpleasant
low fuel consumption: 6 to 7 liters
low maintenance
very cheap insurance 350 euros with 50% bonus
in short, a bike I'm not only happy with, but in love with
what's more, there's the harley atmosphere, with a very friendly dealer and contact with the harley international club
in short, a very endearing bike that lives up to the myth, but it's not a bike for riding like a madman, otherwise you'll crash
enjoy it like a grand cru. Rating : 5/5 Respond to jpl
