presentation of the 1690 ELECTRA GLIDE CLASSIC FLHTC 2011

harley-Davidson's Touring range is plethoric, to the point of making anyone looking for an American cruiser dizzy. The range is further strengthened by the return of the Electra Glide Classic - it withdrew from the range in 2006 with the twin 1450. Now it's back on the front line with the big 103 and its 1690 cm3 displacement. It replaces theElectra Standard (which it once surpassed) and comes between the Street Glide and theUltra Limited. The big Twin Cam boasts an extra dose of torque (it's standard on the entire Touring range) and is perfectly suited to this imposing Tourer. Equipment is similar to that of the Limited , but without the same level of refinement. Bye bye leg protectors, passenger speakers and a few other odds and ends. Above all, the 1690 Classic has all the features that have made Electras famous: the Batwing protective fairing, the Tour Pak trunk with passenger backrest, a pair of side panniers, a senatorial seat and a good sound system. The twin-cylinder's vibrations will keep you singing the praises of joy throughout your journey.

Natural pleasure
French Model 2011
I've had an electra glide classic 2011 for 2 years now, and it's really a motorcycle in a class of its own. It's got an impressive weight, which can sometimes be a bit nerve-wracking in town or when navigating between cars. On the other hand, it's an incredible pleasure as soon as it starts up with my Van & Hines exhausts, you can hear it ok forget about the music, because it's the music, and everyone hears it coming, to the point where on the road cars move aside to let it pass, which is really nice. As soon as you ride it, it's like an American adventure, like freedom.
It's not as modern as the latest models, but it's modern enough, and it retains a vintage style that gives it a lot of charm. With the tour pack, my partner loves to go for rides, so it's still fun to ride a motorcycle together and go off on an adventure for a weekend or more! Stéphane

At the helm for 10 years and still happy! A magnificent, timeless vessel that stands up to the test of time, just as it does to great journeys
Only downside, the pachydermic weight..
Always exceptional!
