presentation of the 1690 DYNA WIDE GLIDE FXDWG 2013

the Dyna Wide Glide returned in 2010 after a 2-year absence. A little wilder, a little more attractive, this famous chopper-style custom celebrates its return with a beautiful flamming paint job (unfortunately in limited series). Like Marty McFly with the DeLorean, we jump back 30 years to rediscover THE Harley machine that set new aesthetic codes for Milwaukee custom bikes. But stepping back to 2010, it seems that Doc Emmet Brown has seriously adapted the FXDWG to current HD trends. Of course, there's the engine - there's no question of going back to the Showelhead 1340, but instead to the big 1584 cm3 Twin Cam 96 mounted on silentblocs. The big twin has since given way to the 1690 (in 2012 in the States and in 2013 here at home). The look is very polished, starting strong and lively with that big, slim 21-inch 40-spoke front rim. With a long 49mm fork hooked up to wide polished aluminum tees and mounted on a 34° open steering column, the front end looks endless, as it does on any self-respecting chopper. The battery, barely concealed under the seat, the Tommy Gun dual exhaust, the small headlight and the single brake disc conclude the fierce style of this bike for hardened Boys. The black trend that has been invading Harley bikes for some time now has also been applied to this Dyna. The rims, headlight cladding, sissy bar, mudguards and rear-view mirrors have all gone dark. In short, this Wide Glide is even more tempting than before. Makes you wonder why Harley-Davidson withdrew it from its catalog for a couple of years...

French Antoine Model 2015
Superb bike with which I went to Corsica and Europe as a couple. Comfortable saddles for both of us. Large sissy bar
A motorcycle that turns heads. It's a Harley and I find no fault with it, including the brakes
I've had about twenty bikes, (Japanese, German, Italian, Austrian) and it's obvious that if you brake at the last moment, and it all depends on how fast you're going, you're going to crash..
Bought used, 2015 model, if you love motorcycles, beautiful motorcycles, don't hesitate.

French Yoyo Model 2015
Very happy, having ridden enough with "bombes" I was looking for something more relaxed, and I found it.
Impressive torque, easy to handle, and when you need power, it's got what it takes to overtake.
But considering the amount of radar, I'm still cool.
