presentation of the 1690 DYNA LOW RIDER FXDL 2016
the Low Rider returned in 2014. Five years away to recharge its batteries, make itself wanted, and find room in its chassis for a few cm3 of lard and hard steel between the cylinder heads and connecting rods. Above all, its driving position has been optimized to satisfy its demanding clientele. It may have been created in 1977, but that doesn't absolve us from reviewing and enhancing its qualities.
first, the engine. The Low Rider snorts to the rhythm of the 103 ci, aka the big 1690 cm3 twin. Not even 80 horsepower and a 12.8 mkg potato to shake your gums. Those figures? Not so important! It's the face, the surly spirit, and all the authentic 70s spirit that runs through the Low Rider's hoses. A whole personality, full of character and profiled in the deepest Harley spirit.
The Rushmore project has left its mark on the ergonomics of the new Low Rider 103 ci. Its very low seat height does not exceed 680 mm. The footrests have been moved forward by 51 mm, and the riding position can be adapted. The two-position saddle can be adjusted in length by plus or minus 38 mm. The handlebars can also be adjusted, to 60 mm, with a set of appropriate tools.
with a skilfully crafted orchestra of black, chrome and timeless looks, this Dyna smells of escape and trepidation. A tempting custom, it is equipped with a 49 mm fork, a center console with two handsome dials, 3 brake discs with 4-piston calipers at the front and double-piston calipers at the rear.standard ABS, 2-in-1 full chrome exhaust, Smart Security System, 6-speed Cruise Drive gearbox, chrome-spoke wheels and 302 kilos of America in the hips. Only regret: if you're going to celebrate its return, why not offer it the latest 103 High Output?! Surely next year...

As for the seat height, I'm used to it, I'm 1.74 m tall and I'm comfortable on it.
55,000 km on the odometer and no problems
In Stage 1, it pulls well and revs up better. In short, I have no regrets, I ride it every day and I'm not about to stop. Rating : 4/5 Respond to Francky

So I can now sell you my original DYNA LOW RIDER 2015 saddle. Please contact me at 0628452722. For your information, I also have advanced orders for LOW RIDER 883 2013 (new) and I am also a seller.
Thank you. Rating : 5/5 Participate in the conversation
The machine feels great to ride and suits me very well.
However, I'd like to make a small remark about the fuel consumption when driving, which is quite reasonable
I can't manage 250 km without exaggerating.
As for the fuel tank, I'd have gone for a larger volume, even 20 liters. Otherwise, I'm very satisfied, just happy and a lot of fun.

I'm also going to buy an INDIAN 1200 or big cube, notice to sellers...

Recently upgraded to Stage 1.
I'm always more and more satisfied when I do a ride (usually 90/120 kms). No faults to be found. The saddle height? I've got used to it (except for maneuvering at a standstill for me, who's tall). 50 cm higher would be desirable, the saddle is there but not in harmony with the machine, so I stay as I am.
I can only recommend this machine. It's true that I saw a huge difference with the ARIEL SQUARE FOUR from the 1950s...!
Bonne route a tous.

I tested 2 sublime bikes the other day...!!! INDIAN 1200 SCOUT 2016, and SPRINGFIELD 1800 I sincerely believe it's wonderful, especially for the SCOUT.....I am strongly tempted... But first I have to sell one of my two HARLEYs (I'm thinking first of the 883 R-, I may also decide to part with my DYNA (3400 kms), so if you are interested in such a vehicle (equipped stage 1 complete with Pots vance and ines), please contact me for any information: 0628452722
I'm a former motorcyclist... 81 years old. See you...and have a nice trip too ....!!

the Low rider Dyna(103CP) from 2015.
whose model I had tried... (comment left in my previous message). since then, I've done 490 kms with great pleasure. it's a machine on rails, with very good roadholding. You get used to it very quickly. It's a pure marvel. It swings very well in corners, no fear of rubbing..!!! I was a bit worried about the seat height (compared to my 883 R), but on reflection, and given my tall stature (1.85 m), I feel completely at ease. This bike isn't tiring at all, and the handlebars adjust if your arms pull a little...!!!
So, to sum up, it's all good, all good....Don't hesitate for a moment.....Happy riding! Rating : 5/5 Respond to CADILLAC
I've always driven a H.D.: most recently in 2014 (Super Low 883)too low for me, alas.
et en 2015:(883 R) avec ABS seulement 1300 kms depuis peu). je me suis rendu auprès de mon concessionnaire qui m\'a proposé un essai de cette DYNA LOW RIDER 2015 1690 cm3 .
First impression:
favorable, but a little low for me (1.80 m) and lower than my 883 R(760m/m) by 8cms.(680m/m) for Dyna Low rider 2015.
Riding position however very comfortable, although I'm already served in this regard with the 883 R. Maybe with a seat a "chuiya" high, it should do....I will then return for a new test. Not ridden long enough to give you other opinions, (but let's trust H.D légendaire)...!!! (suspension, braking, handling on wet roads etc etc...) but it will be done very soon.
Here's to driving an H.D.!!! Rating : 4/5 Respond to CADILLAC
