That would be nonsense. The slim is not a pure bobber, but a machine with a bobber look, nuance.

beneath the enormous tank, topped by a cat-eye console, the pulses come from the heart of the bike: the big 1690 cm3 twin-cylinder Twin Cam 103B. The B stands for several of the engine's special features. Rigidly mounted in the hardtail frame, it is equipped with a balancer to reduce vibrations. Fat throughout, it delivers less than 13 mkg of torque this year. Last year, we were treated to more muscle.
For 2016, the Slim has further asserted its aplomb, its very particular vigor, with the adoption of the High Output version. Optimized, thanks in particular to a revised camshaft and airbox, the 1690 remains more than ever the spirit and maturity of American production.

Too bad! If the eye is drawn to the center of the Slim, why smear the mechanics in black? It's not the engine you're looking at, it's just the cylinder head covers and gearbox housings. On the braking side, the Moco had recently reinforced the system's willingness and capacity. The front disc has been enlarged from 292 to 300 mm. The caliper and master cylinder have been redesigned, with the latter also benefiting from a performance-enhancing design. The high-friction pad material reduces lever effort by almost half. Harley claims 40% less for optimal braking.

i can see you twitching... Because for you, the essential is not there but in the guttural bursts of the American twin-cylinder, in the solitary pleasure of experiencing the road. The Slim is an exclusive machine, with only the rider sitting low to the ground (650 mm seat height).
