You can't deny a CVO anything. And it doesn't deny itself anything either. The Street Glide continues Harley's tradition of high-end customization. As last year, we can expect a delicate and luxurious work. Beautiful parts, supreme allure, a majesty that only Custom Vehicle Operations can deliver....... Except that this Street Glide packs one heck of an engine, far bigger than anything we've ever seen from a production Harley. The Milwaukee Eight twin goes to 117 ci, and it's jaw-dropping.

with its M8, Harley has developed a motorization for the ages to come. It can be found in all Tourer and Softail models, in 1745 or 1870 cm3. They're affectionately nicknamed 107 ci or 114 ci, in reference to their American measurement systems. Here, prestige pushes it into a 117 ci version, i.e. 1923 cm3. An enormous value, totally in keeping with the machine's size and value.
Previously, CVO models were powered by Twin Cam's strongest evolution, the 110 with 1803 cm3 of displacement. Now, the Milwaukee Eight Scream'in Eagle gargles in 120 cm3 more, and its throat belches more than just vocals. This block sends 105 horsepower through the 6-speed gearbox, and the poor transmission will have to shift almost 17 mkg of torque. So buying a CVO isn't just Harley's top-of-the-line machine; it's also an American force of nature.

in MoCo's top-of-the-range department, the focus is on high-quality paint and deco. Wiser than usual, the Street Glide's crest is nonetheless beautifully crafted. Of course, the equipment is equally impressive. The BOOM BOX 6.5 touchscreen infotainment system is backed up by a 900-watt sound system, comprising 3 x 4-channel amps and 6 x bi-amplified speakers. Intrepid Talon rims mark the perimeter of this bagger, one of the most desirable in the Harley range. The stifling price tag isn't just a psychological barrier. It's also the definition of premium for a very discerning category of enthusiasts.
