presentation of the 1870 TRI GLIDE ULTRA FLHTCUTG 2019
The Tri Glide is a very special machine. As you've all seen, it's a trike. But more importantly, it's the only factory Trike in the world. Harkey introduced it to France in 2014, five years after relaunching production in the USA. For the Milwaukee-based manufacturer, this machine has a special place in its history. Harley produced trikes for almost half a century, from 1932 to 1973.
introducing the Tri Glide to our market is quite an initiative, almost a challenge. Based on the Electra Glide Ultra Classic, to which we've added a specific rear structure, two car wheels, characteristic braking and a large King Tour Pak boot, this machine is sure to turn a lot of heads. It weighs in at over 560 kilos and is 50% wider than a 1800 Goldwing. What a piece of work! With its three wheels, the Tri Glide offers an incomparable riding experience.

Let's return to the 2019 crucible, rich in improvements. We've seen the multimedia side, now let's take a look at the dynamics. Premium suspensions from the Touring range are more efficient. The brakes and relative velocity of the big H-D trike are now under the control of the new 'Reflex' interconnected braking system, which includes the 'Reflex' system.s'Reflex' system, including ABS, a traction control system (TCS), a torque control system (DSCS) and connected front/rear braking.
The hot item since 2017 is the introduction of the Milwaukke-Eight engine. Installed here in its Twin Cooled version, which means it's partially water-cooled. With its impressive cubic capacity, 4 valves per cylinder and various improvements, the engine delivers 16.5 mkg of torque this year, 1.1 mkg more than in the previous opus 107. All of which adds to the comfort and durability of this imposing machine. To find out more about the Milwaukee Eight engine, click here ->.
a trike, in addition to its very typical ride, can give you certain amenities (and inconveniences) that can only be found on a car. The Tri Glide has electric reverse, a 124-liter trunk, a parking brake, and stability that's impossible on a two-wheeler... just like cornering. Original, with a hint of prestige, the 1868 Tri Glide Ultra is not for novices either. In addition to its undiscovered driving dynamics, this machine demands a handsome wallet, with an entry price of over €39,000. A special feature is that it can be driven with a car license, giving it access to a wider panel of connoisseurs.

at the finish (400 km with two wheels and I was rinsed).
I think I could ride 900 km in the conditions I mentioned above
In 2 months I'll be 68. I'm no superman, but I'm lucky to be in good health. I've been a motorcyclist for 52 years now (in my day, I only had one driver's license, which I took at the age of 16) Rating : 4/5 Respond to Papy ...
On the freeway (2 times 900 kms in less than 10 days), at 115-120, it's a delight, but of course you have to accept being overtaken by cars... I don't mind
For Mediterranean people, and more specifically those from the 06, the Gorges de la Vézubie and the climb to Utelle followed by the 6 kms of mountain to the Madonna, with picnic at the summit, is better than by car, in fact it's a real treat, especially if the weather is excellent, especially as the road (and when I say road I'm bordering on exaggeration) isn't very wide ... and paved by who knows who !!! ...
Passenger comfort can be improved on poorly paved roads ...., but it's still very decent, and my wife prefers it to that of the 900 Tracer .... This same comfort is unequalled on freeways or well-paved roads
i read below that one of my elders tightened .... I think his fan didn't detect anything ... mine often runs at very low speed and when arriving at petrol pumps, all the more so as temperatures have been close to 34°C this autumn (in the south-east) and accidents on the A8 almost anaesthetize traffic for long minutes (but whoever's at the controls doesn't know, of course, how long it's going to last and must therefore leave his mill running !!!! to avoid pulling too often on his starter - and therefore also on his battery). Rating : 4/5 Respond to Papy

I regret to write that it seems almost impossible to drive this Trike with only 1 arm ... There may be some possible adjustments but, really, I can't think of any
Best regards. Rating : 5/5 Participate in the conversation
