Motorcycle specifications HondaCBR 1000 RR Factory TEN KATE SUPERBIKE 2011 Rediscovering a taste for the best
presentation of the CBR 1000 RR Factory TEN KATE SUPERBIKE 2011
after a fine period of partnership with HannSpree, the TEN KATE Superbike team has signed up a major sponsor with a glorious past for 2011: Castrol. What a treat to see the green and red colors on a Honda's fairing. In the history of SBK, no one has forgotten the spirit and character of John Kocinski on his Castrol RC 45 (1997) and the victories of Colin Edwards on his VTR SP (2000 and 2002), also bearing the Castrol stamp.(Avec Castrol, tout le monde s'envole - avec Motul, tout le monde s'en...). This association of yesteryear brought back 3 SBK World Championship titles.
the story began in 1959 on the Isle of Man with Honda's involvement in the Tourist Trophy. It was revived in 2011 with the CBR 1000 RR and its two talented riders: Jonathan Rea and Ruben Xaus. With Ten Kate's experience, Castrol's support and Honda's strike force, this team will be very much in the spotlight in 2011. But the race won't be that simple.
because the CBR is old. It's not a bad bike; in fact, it's very efficient, even more so since the switch to Öhlins in mid-2009. But it's also the oldest machine on the line-up. It's about time a new hypersport took up the torch.
Although the focus is on the Aprilia RSV4, the Fireblade can still fight, and well ahead of it. Ten Kate gets more than 215 horsepower out of the Japanese block, and the sharpening of the chassis allows for spark-tinged miracles. 2011 and the arrival of Castrol will certainly see further development, with a little HRC thrown in for good measure. In the meantime, I invite you to take another look at the CBR 1000 RR in HannSpree colors.
