presentation of the CA 125 REBEL 1995
the Rebel paved the way for a new breed of 125 customs: those equipped with a twin-cylinder engine. Beautiful plastic, lots of chrome, and 2 years of success, even supremacy in the 125 market. The engine is smooth, but doesn't give the Rebel spectacular performance. Comfort is worthy of a custom bike... it speaks for itself. The handling is sound, the price enticing, and the low seat height makes life on board and handling easier. Now it's up against some ruthless competition. Yamaha Dragstar and Honda Shadow now offer modern V-twins to match its parallel twin.

What should I do to optimize the carburetor?

I consume about 4 small liters approximately but for the moment I make only of the city, certainly less on the main road still that? if you go to hard.... I don't know Rating : 4/5 Participate in the conversation

Did you drill just the pot outlet or all the baffles inside? And how many Diam 8 holes did you drill?
T\'avez le lien du filtre à air stp?
Thanks Rating : 4/5 Participate in the conversation
could you send me some pictures of what you did to improve the power of your 125.
I suppose you don't just have to change the air filter to increase power?
Sincerely
Séverine Rating : 5/5 Participate in the conversation
Replacing the air filter is not necessary. A 2€ coin-sized hole in the airbox and removing the original filter's reducer pipe is enough. As for the exhaust, since the gases are expelled on both exhausts, drilling a hole in them is not useful other than to get a deeper sound.
an extra 2 teeth on the gearbox output sprocket and it's easy to track at 95km/h without forcing, without vibration. The gain from air unclutching offsets the loss of responsiveness due to the larger sprocket
Anyway, that's the configuration of mine, which runs year-round without a care in the world. Rating : 5/5 Participate in the conversation

how to check if the chain kit is good to change on a Honda 125 rebel from 96?
Thanks Rating : 5/5 Respond to demangep
With this kit, you have to add the 2-carburetor system from some Cb 125s before 88, then fit a 17/39/134 chain kit - it changes everything.
Can you send me the link for the kit, my supplier no longer exists and I have another machine to prepare, thank you in advance Rating : 4/5 Participate in the conversation

First step
-carburetor rebore from 18 to 22 (http://www.unlimited-power.net/francais/ficheca125.htm#)
-replaced the cylinder head with that of the CB 125 Honda
-enlarging the intake pipe (from 18 to 22 diameter)
-change of nozzle to 112
Second step
-modification of air filter (http://www.unlimited-power.net/francais/ficheca125.htm#)
-change gearbox output sprocket for a 14-tooth one
- change the crown wheel for a 41-tooth one
After all these modifications, my speedometer now reads 120KM/h max and a cruising speed of between 105 and 110 km/h with the throttle at 3/4
and when it comes to acceleration, at least it's a bike that responds Rating : 5/5 Respond to miguel
Changed the cylinder head against the 125 CB then enlarged the carburetor from 18 to 22 and the intake pipe
Removal of the baffles on the pots with a 16 mm diameter drill
Replacement of the gearbox output pinion by a 14-tooth one, and of the wheel by a 41-tooth crown wheel Rating : 5/5 Respond to migue
