custom bikes may no longer be all the rage in France, but the Dark version is all the rage. Harley has even created a whole family under this banner. From the Fat Boy Special to the Thunderbird Storm, not forgetting this Shadow Black Spirit, custom bikes are taking the shade to shine on avenues and countertops.
The 750 Black Spirit is closely derived from the VT Shadow S. Equipped with the same 6-valve, twin-cylinder engine, it offers slightly more power and torque. However, with 45 horsepower in the gimbal, there's no need to pull your arms out; the Black is made for bubbling and showing off.

it's all about getting noticed. Gone are the days of chrome. Today, it's all about black, lots of it, and just a little sparkle here and there. Covered in black from the rims to the engine fins, from the frame to the tank, and from the headlight cover to the shocks, Honda's custom bike lets only its exhausts and mirrors shine. Its 41 mm fork, however, looks 10 mm larger with its satin-finish covers over the tubes. The new drag-bar handlebars make for a more distinctive riding position.
Given its performance, there's no need to overdo the braking system. The Black is fitted with a single 296 mm brake disc at the front, leaving the rear to an old-fashioned 180 mm drum. The cardan shaft transmission makes for easy maintenance, the spoked rims add to the style, and the tank-mounted instrument console completes the custom look. As for the 650 mm seat height, it couldn't be more accessible. You'll sit barely higher than the rear tire, a whopping 160 mm wide. All show, I tell you...! As for the inflation of over 2,000 euros compared to the VT 750 S, that's a little less easy to digest.
