presentation of the CBR 600 RR 2004

What do I see? Is it possible? An RCV 211 at my dealer's... it's crazy! Almost. With its new CBR 600, Honda cuts through the compromises and clearly shows its colors: a pure pistarde, a true Replica with the sole ambition of imposing, dominating, as its inspiration did so well under the reign of Doctor 46. In addition to its highly successful design, a true twin to Rossi's MotoGP, the CBR also benefits from the transfer of HRC technology. Pro-link rear shock absorber mounted directly on the swingarm, dual injector manifolds, under-seat exhaust, mass re-centering, frame design... The manufacturer has done a hell of a job. Consternation! In the 600 sport class, it's the heaviest. And yet, it's so lively. As soon as you move on the bike, it reacts. The same goes for the slightest pressure on one of the half-handlebars. Don't be surprised, the CBR had already warned you. In addition to its looks, the riding position is now very Racing, with the body well forward. Even so, the suspension is relatively comfortable. For a 600, the engine doesn't do too badly at low revs. At the top end, in the power zone, it's hard work. The mini-RCV has become one of the most impressive machines in its segment.

Honda CBR 600 RR 2004 - 1Honda CBR 600 RR 2004 - 1

In the twisty parts of a circuit, agility takes precedence, and the CBR is surprisingly agile. HONDA CBR 600 RRIt throws itself into the bend without restraint, but struggles a little to get out of it. It's only handicapped by its gear ratio, which is actually very pleasant to use. Highly efficient, the bike always gives you the impression that you can do better, that you can push the limits even further. And above all, like any Honda, you just have to get on it to tame it. Braking is powerful and responsive, but we'd appreciate a little more bite. The bike then loses a little stability, but overall, it's a tool of rare efficiency. As it has become more radical, compromises will have to be made. Bring a girlfriend? Not really a good idea. There's nothing left but a handkerchief and a record player. In short, forget about being reasonable. You're looking at a dream distillation machine.

French Babas Model 2003
A very good, playful bike, with a lot of power in the laps! Lacks bite under braking ( sprocket modification minus one tooth improves the bike! ) Rating : 3/5

French valentital Model 2003
Well, as a young driver, I wanted nothing more than a 600 cbr rr, so I tried one of my uncle's, who has a 954 cbr fire blade and the seat is identical. I had no hesitation in buying the 600 cbr rr, and I find that when you've got the handle in your hand, that's all it asks for.so for me, honda is for life, even if ROSSI is with YAM. basically, the 600 cbr rr is mad as hell. sorry, i don't know much about mechanics, but according to my uncle, the swingarm alone on the 600 cbr rr is just right, he's even jealous. but 108 km in first gear is pretty cool (i assure you, it's already been warmed up) Rating : 5/5
French R3M! Model 2003
Frankly, I prefer the R6. I have to admit that the CBR is superb, but the R6 has something more ... Rating : 5/5

French Slayer Model 2003
beautiful bike, aggressive, racy and sporty, great success from Honda again in the CBR series, very good handling with a hell of a temperament, she screams and never stops screaming when you tickle her but what a pleasure!very good 600,a must try! Rating : 5/5
French fabien Model 2003
I think it's terrible, a real beauty, linear power but very controllable at all times... You put it in full gear and you put a sprocket of 15 at the gearbox output and you have a real bullet that just keeps on revving up.... It's beautiful, the chassis is Dantesque, the braking is hyper-powerful and progressive, and the power is linear but always exploitable... So buy it... Rating : 5/5
