To celebrate the 70th anniversary of Honda, the company's Swiss subsidiary is launching a new special series of the CB 1000 R. The name is apt for the occasion: the Seventy Limited Edition. honda's big roadster honors its big anniversary with a well-considered customization. First of all, this CB 1000 R wears its number in several places, so that it's easy to remember. Number plates arranged (as usual) on the sides of the stern would have been out of place - so special covers were fitted under the tank. The 70 appears in a prominent position. It can also be found on the mini windscreen, the radiator scoops and... just one side of the fuel tank. A little facetiousness that's sure to charm observers.
the "Seventy" designation is more discreet, with stickers at the beginning of the seat cover, in the center of the handlebars and on the upper arms of the rear frame. Here, three numbers indicate the number of this machine in its limited series.
On the other hand, you do need to take the time to appreciate all the features added to the CB 1000 R. To go with the special copper-toned paintwork, you can sample the plate holder, rear mudguard and side covers (the 70s badges) in anodized aluminum. All prepared in the workshops of Honda Suisse.
To make its 145 hp 4-cylinder sing, Akrapovic takes care of the soundtrack with a titanium silencer, carbon end cap and heat shield. The bike also features Rizoma mirrors and Kellerman integrated turn signals.
in this 70th anniversary tribute, the CB 1000 R becomes more desirable, with a higher level of finish. It's almost as if the "Neo Sports Café" concept that Honda has blended into its latest roadster productions has been taken on board.
