cycle
with its welcoming architecture and low seat height, the CRF 50 F won't impress even the youngest riders. A true small-bike, it features a steel frame and reinforced swingarm that together offer an optimal balance between rigidity and comfort.
an inverted fork with 94 mm of travel ensures efficient, reassuring handling. Combined with a monoshock, this little bike tackles bumps with efficiency and comfort.
the 10-inch steel wheels feature 28-spoke spoking, aluminum hubs and all-terrain tires for easy, comfortable handling. Front and rear drums provide much-needed braking power.
like every member of Honda's off-road range, the CRF 50 F proudly asserts its heritage. With its large CRF-inspired bodywork, compact fuel tank and narrow (11 cm), low (< 55 cm) seat, the CRF 50 F offers a secure riding position, capable of comfortably accommodating the youngest riders, whatever their size.
the cross handlebars are fitted with a central protective foam and easy-grip grips, as are the brake levers. The notched, folding footrests ensure optimum control, even in mud. Plastic mudguards are strong and durable.
motorization
for youngsters new to off-roading, fun is the top priority. Parents, on the other hand, are more concerned with safety, reliability and ease of maintenance. The CRF 50 F is designed to satisfy everyone..
the smallest CRF is powered by a 49 cm3, single-acting, 4-stroke single-cylinder engine that delivers progressive power of around 3 hp, making it easy for beginners to exploit. Bore and stroke are set at 39 x 41.4 mm, with a volumetric ratio of 10 to 1. The ø 11 mm carburetor guarantees constant, linear performance at all engine speeds, regardless of how wide the throttle is opened.
fuel consumption is low, allowing long riding sessions between 2 fill-ups. At the same time, a throttle limiter gives parents the freedom to adapt available performance to their rider's abilities.
the ignition (with key switch) is maintenance-free, as is the timing chain, which features an automatic tensioner to optimize durability. Final drive is via a reliable, low-maintenance 420-pitch chain. The air filter is easily accessible and washable, while the exhaust is particularly quiet.
the CRF 50 F is equipped with a 3-speed gearbox, combined with an easy-to-use automatic clutch.
