presentation of the TE 125 2016
Weighing just 96 kg without fuel, the TE 125 is the lightest enduro model in the Husqvarna range. The TE 125's compact, powerful 2-stroke engine delivers first-class performance and extreme manoeuvrability. Solid brake calipers and new, more powerful Brembo discs inspire confidence, while the Magura hydraulic clutch and six-speed gearbox provide smooth gear changes for maximum control and precision.
engine
the TE 125's high-performance 125 cm3 2-stroke engine delivers powerful horsepower and torque throughout the rev range, thanks to an advanced power valve that optimizes power delivery. The Boyesen valve gear ensures excellent response, durability and intake flow.
cylinder and piston
the high-performance cylinder, power valve and Vertex piston are designed to deliver powerful torque at low rpm and maximum performance at full throttle, while ensuring maximum reliability.
clutch
excellent modulation, low maintenance and excellent handling are assured with this German-made Magura hydraulic clutch. The clutch lever reduces the risk of breakage, as it can be rotated by almost 90° in the event of a fall.excellent modulation, low maintenance and excellent handling are assured with this clutch. The clutch lever reduces the risk of breakage as it can be rotated by almost 90° if dropped.
cooling system
wP Performance Systems radiators feature an integrated fluid path in the frame. This system dissipates heat efficiently and ensures optimum compactness and cooling thanks to the reduction in piping.
chromoly steel frame
high-quality, high-strength steel is laser-cut and robot-welded to rigorous standards by WP Performance Systems, in precise compliance with the torsional rigidity, longitudinal flexibility and weight defined by the R&D department. Precisely defined torsional rigidity enables great manoeuvrability and promotes stability, while longitudinal flexibility facilitates the absorption of terrain impacts and, in combination with the suspension, gives greater comfort and a better feel. The lightweight design allows riders to choose faster routes with confidence and maintain a steady racing pace over long periods.
polyamide rear section
the lightweight, three-piece rear section is more flexible than a traditional aluminum rear section. Combined with the frame's longitudinal flexibility and rear linkage system, it gives the rider a greater sense of comfort and confidence on his machine, enabling him to push the limits in all conditions and on all terrains. The composite rear frame design integrates an air box and rear grips.
new disc brakes
new GSK front and rear disc brakes offer superior stopping power and enhanced control thanks to their innovative design.
new front-end geometry
the details of the improvements made to AM 16 enduros concern the front axle, where a new 22 mm front wheel axle fitted with specific fork legs replaces the old 26 mm axle. The new axle is lighter, and the fork legs have a smaller offset and greater caster, giving greater stability and better front-end feel.
new rear-end geometry
now in its third year of development, the rear linkage on Husqvarna enduros is proving to be the optimum choice for all riding styles and skill levels. This versatile system performs well on a wide variety of terrains, from narrow, technical tracks to wide, high-speed circuits. The high level of comfort provided by our linkage system allows the rider to tackle rough terrain with optimum feel and traction in all circumstances.
revised setting for WP shock absorber
the high-performance DCC (Dual Compression Control) rear shock absorber from WP Performance Systems has a revised setting and new valves.glage and features new valves to match the geometry and tuning changes on the front axle. This new setup improves damping characteristics and balance. The rear DCC shock absorber guarantees excellent damping characteristics, as well as maximum feel and comfort. The shock absorber is fully adjustable for rebound and compression at high/low speeds.
new 4CS fork adjustment
wP suspension is of exceptional quality and offers the highest levels of performance. Precise design, quality materials and advanced production processes are the hallmarks of WP forks across the Husqvarna range. With the new offset on the fork tees and fork legs, the 4CS setting has been revised to adapt to the new front-end geometry. Now in production for four years, the 4CS fork has achieved a perfect balance between performance, feel and reliability.
aluminium swingarm
a great deal of development effort has gone into the aluminum swingarm to meet the very ambitious targets set by our professional riders. The precisely studied flexion of the swingarm gives riders a perfect feel for the terrain, enabling them to adjust power to the rear wheel for optimum traction and speed. The one-piece construction of the aluminum swingarm eliminates the need for welds, providing greater reliability, stability and safety than other manufacturing processes, as well as superior quality and consistent performance over time.
large fuel tank capacity
husqvarna 2-stroke bikes feature the largest fuel tank in the competition enduro category. Designed for all types of terrain - from the typical forest tracks of Europe to the wide-open spaces of Australia and the USA - the 2-stroke's 11-liter fuel tank holds 1.5 liters more than its nearest competitor. The polyethylene fuel tank features an easy-to-open bayonet filler cap.
tires and wheels
world Championship performance from Michelin Enduro Competition IV front tires and Michelin Enduro Competition III rear tires.Black DID high-strength alloy wheels are matched with CNC-machined hubs and silver-anodized aluminum spoke nipples, for excellent performance and a modern look.
tool-free air filter access
tool-free access to the airbox, combined with a screwless air filter mounting system, makes maintenance and inspection of the air filter easier and quicker. All models feature a dual air filter as standard, and a specially designed air intake neck for maximum power.
neken handlebars
neken angled handlebars in silver-anodized aluminum are a high-quality component on Husqvarna enduros.
