"I've got an Indian. When a biker announces this, a number of reactions follow. Either they think you've got an old banger from the inter-war years, or they see you as a devotee of the great American motorcycle with a big ship full of legend.
Except that here, we're playing the rebel. All you have to do is specify:"This is a Scout, the Bobber version."
And that's all there is to it!

Because Indian has decided to shake up its sector. And for fans of sensations and stripped-down motorcycles, the bobber is the machine that best lends itself to the exercise.
The Scout was the natural candidate in Springfield's range to wear out the office. Its modern, warm Iroquois engine is just waiting to stretch the frame and the biker with its 94 horsepower. But first of all, it has to look uncluttered; that's the rule of thumb. So Indian brought out the tomahawk to give the rear mudguard a good whack. Almost half of it was cleared. The front fender seems to have been cut with a minimalist protrusion. A headlamp cowling gives this Scout Bobber a more menacing appearance, while Street Tracker handlebars and footpegs moved 38 mm to the rear give a more aggressive riding position.
The exhaust duo is covered in black, with ventilated pipe covers. The overall line has been lowered, thanks to a revised rear suspension; the front benefits from a new cartridge fork.

Rebellious, almost wild. The Indian Scout Bobber provokes the roads with its studded tires, mounted on specially designed rims. The wheels are very dark, as are some of the night-time elements on this bad-boy version. The bottom of the speedometer, the mirrors and the indicators are all there. On the other hand, a good grind on the cylinder heads brings out the metal in the retina. Finally, the Bobber emphasizes its identity with a two-tone seat and a new Indian logo on the sides of the tank.
This Scout tends towards minimalism, a note of style that appeals in neighborhoods where only the authority of the piston rules.

Bécane magnifique un look de fou; par contre amortisseurs trop dur et un gros problème de garde au sol surtout dans les ronds point ..cale pied touchant l asphalte , Et pour moi le plus gros souci sur cette moto malchance ou défaut de la machine ,deux batteries changées en trois années..Verdict:Vente de ma scout bobber malgré son look ravageur,je reste sur ma faim avec un gout amer.
Je précise quand même que la marque Indian reste a mon avis des artistes en matière de bécanes qui font rêver.

I had the bobber 21 second hand, nice bike, nice engine, but on the other hand rotten comfort, I had the shock absorbers changed by adjustable and it goes a little better, truck handling, footrest that rubs at every roundabout, in short bike resold after 3000 km, because back in bulk and especially a 1600 km overhaul at a golden price In short a bike Not really made for long trips. I tried it out on 4-09-2019 and had a great time, as it's comfortable and takes corners well, brakes well and has good engine braking, not as strong as my Guzzi V7 III. The exhaust noise is pleasant, but not as loud as many Harleys. Good acceleration, good torque, but not as strong as the Street Bob.
A very pleasant and enjoyable motorcycle at low speeds, worth discovering and trying out.
