presentation of the Z 900 RS SE Limited Edition 2025
This Kawasaki Z 900 RS SE celebrates a 50th anniversary. Not Kawasaki's.... Well, not the brand itself. But the 50th anniversary of the founding of Kawasaki Germany. At first, Akashi motorcycles arrived on the sly, discovering the roads of the R.F.A. in 1966. It wasn't until 1968, when Detlev Louis (creator of the well-known Louis equipment brand) took over, that an official importer was appointed.
On March 14, 1975, Kawa took matters into its own hands to take care of the German market, creating Kawasaki GMBH.
Half a century later, the Friedrichsdorf branch is offering a limited edition Z 900 RS SE to celebrate the occasion. 150 examples of this neo-retro roadster are embellished with a few flashy components. Gold-anodized heel guards, radiator panels and handlebar ends. They accompany the original "Spark Black" color scheme and echo the gold rims.
This is followed by an embossed saddle adorned with striking yellow stitching. The Z 900 RS SE 50th Limited Edition shows its ideology of remembrance with badges on the tank, bridge plate and sides under the saddle. It will be accompanied by a box containing a commemorative book and the certificate of authenticity associated with the machine, signed by Jürgen Höpker-Seibert, boss of Kawasaki Germany.
Teutons have been able to place orders since December 4, and will have until the last moment of the year to reserve one. That's if anyone backs out. All models were reserved within 3 days.
No technical modifications have been made to the most classic of Z models, which boasts Öhlins shock absorbers, Brembo brakes, a 111-hp 4-cylinder, old-fashioned meters and the well-realized styling of a 900 Z1 (1972).

I really think it's a shame that it has so little horsepower - it should have at least 130. The German touch on a Jap is just not right for my taste... Rating : 5/5 Respond to Yo10r
