presentation of the ER-6f 650 2010
damned! A new Ninja?!? Kawa would add a new sports bike to its catalog?!? But what displacement? Let's take a closer look at the fairing... It says... ER-6 f. Wow! What a surprise, and what a line. The little green tourer has really evolved. Gone are the sweet lines - replaced by a much sportier style, flirting with the limits of aggression. It looks like a cross between the late ZRX 1200 S and the old ER-6 f. It looks great, inspired by the latest ZX-10 R and 6 R. It even goes so far as to feature a gaping air intake on the front. A pure aesthetic fantasy, but a pleasant one, and totally in keeping with the style.
a small, accessible tourer, the 650 now has a strong identity. The fairing is completely new, with 2 generously dimensioned headlight clusters, integrated turn signals like the Ninja sisters, sharply redesigned mirrors, a higher bubble, a revised rear end with new passenger grips, and an all-new fully digital instrument panel furiously influenced by the MotoGP trend. A fashionable LED taillight completes the mutation.
inside, the changes are more minimal. Kawasaki has made a few adjustments to the little in-line twin to make it smoother and quicker to rev.
Small redesigns to the frame, swingarm and suspension should reduce vibrations and make the ER-6f even easier to handle. This sporty-looking teaser makes your mouth water.
