presentation of the Ninja 300 Performance 2015
The smallest of the Ninja models may not have all the bells and whistles of its big sisters, but it shares the same spirit. Sport and emotion. The 300 is more fun than radical. And almost provocative in this Performance version. At Kawasaki, a selection of models are entitled to this special sex appeal package. What does it consist of on the Ninja 300?
the silhouette changes with the adoption of a body-colored seat cover and a double-curved smoked bubble. Perfect for hiding the helmet in the meters and relieving wind pressure on the rider. For the tank, a gel protector; for the wheels, a pair of piping; for the engine... This is the centerpiece of the Performance Edition. The twin-cylinder can express itself via an Akrapovic carbon silencer. The benefit is a more aggressive voice, a pinch of extra power (around half a horsepower and a crumb of torque) and almost 3 kilos less weight. The Slovenian exhaust weighs in at just 1.6 kg, compared with the original 4.4 kg.
For the record, the Performance Pack is priced at 720 euros for the standard Kawasaki Ninja 300, and 700 for the 30th Anniversary Edition.
