presentation of the 650 VULCAN 70 par Mr Martini 2016
For many connoisseurs, Kawasaki three-cylinders are more than just character bikes. The H1 500 made its mark in its day, and the 750 H2 went beyond being an exceptional motorcycle to become a legend. A feisty 3-cylinder with a record of danger and sportiness, it was famous from the moment it came out, and still turns many heads today.
in early 2016, Italian tuner Mr Martini presented a Vulcan 650 S reworked by himself to interpret a mimicry of the H2 of the 70s and H1 500 Mach III. The idea has since caught on, and the craftsman now offers a specific kit to transform the little Kawa custom into a tribute to the H1.
Paint and stickers? Not at all. No fewer than 24 parts have been created to truly transform the Vulcan. The result is captivating, with two eye-catching colors and an allure that charms. Half-roadster, half-custom, half-H2, this creation has that little sparkle that makes you want to take it just about anywhere.
only 100 numbered copies of the kit will be produced. There's nothing to modify on the engine or chassis; everything is done on the trim. The tank is painted in the famous green duo of the 1974 H2B version, or the red-bordeaux of the 1975 H2C. A quilted saddle is a must if you want to keep up with the spirit, whether black on the green or beige (our favorite) on the red. The round headlight is standard, as are the vintage chrome taillight and turn signals. The package also includes small side plates under the seat with the "Vulcan 70" designation, a rear frame cover, specific foot controls, roadster-style handlebars, a Zard exhaust system and a plate holder. To afford all this, you'll need to write a cheque for 3,500 euros and, above all, go to Italy to order it. There are no plans for France.
and you can complete the look by ordering other parts. Mr Martini has provided almost everything you'll need to complete the decal. Choose from Kineo spoked wheels, fork gaiters, round mirrors or chrome front mudguards.
The 61-hp twin-cylinder won't offer the psychosis of the 750 3-cylinder of yesteryear, but rather a smoother, more charming ride. And above all, a more reassuring chassis. But that's not the point. Let's face it, with a look like this, you want to show off more than usual.
