presentation of the Z 900 RS Performance 2021
A legacy... Yes, but a heavy heritage to carry. Adopting the codes and colors of the Z1 is a strong appeal to nostalgia. The Z 900 RS must prove itself worthy of this, capable of providing riding pleasure for all, satisfying the curiosity of revival-boys, withstanding a few quips, and giving the RS more than the Z 900. Style-wise, the exercise is a success.
As for enjoyment, the 4-cylinder knows how to delight the user. Wattage, response, a smoother, less snarling feel than the streetfighter, and for this Performance edition, the goulish song of a more expressive exhaust. Kawasaki perpetuates its confidence in Slovenian exhausts by grafting on an Akrapovic S-K9SO5-HBAVTBL. A beautiful titanium piece that blends in with the Z's vintage spirit. The bonus is a weight and power gain of 1 horsepower and a tenth of a mkg - anecdotal, but it's the sound and quality of the Akra that will be remembered.
The Kawa Z 900 RS Performance Pack is more than just a muffler. It takes care of the engine with a pair of crankcase guards. The fuel tank is also protected by a small, self-adhesive gel pad.
The equipment comes at a price, admittedly more attractive than the individual parts. But added to the RS's already steep price tag, it's a sobering thought. Except, of course, that the impulses of the heart and the gas rarely act in concert with reason.

Bikers' reviews Leave a review - 2 reviews
I liked my Suzuki sv 650, which was a bit low for the 89 meters I'm tall, but the z900 rs is the one I dreamed of and watched when I was in my shorts, and now I can say: it was worth the wait.
Comfortable and reassuring, with a superb engine and exhaust note. The only downside is the almost useless and impractical under-seat storage. Rating : 4/5 Respond to Mistral189
Its biggest flaw, however, is its price, which isn't cheap Rating : 5/5 Respond to DANACASO
