presentation of the 450 Rally Replica 2025
KTM launches a new rally machine for 2025. The 450 replica hadn't changed much since 2020; it's time to take it to the next level of performance. Mattighofen hasn't done things by halves: new frame, redesigned cylinder head, rethought cooling, significantly revised aerodynamics, new trim, improved dashboard, and availability as always limited.
It has the blood of a competitor running through its veins. With 10 out of 19 Dakar victories for KTM, and 235 stage wins, the manufacturer knows the job and offers a bike that comes as close as possible to a factory model.
At this level, a very precise configuration is essential to gain the upper hand over the competition. The 450 Rally Replica 2025 has thought of everything, with WP Pro Components suspensions fully adjustable to the millimetre according to rider preference, weight and terrain, not to mention adjustable handlebars.
Already compulsory in many races in the Auto, Quad and Truck categories, the Katoche has room to install a digital roadbook. This new addition, already extensively tested and race-proven, is more accurate, more user-friendly and offers even more racing functionality. Nostalgic for old maps? The classic paper roadbook system is still available.
For the trim, a simple all-white self-adhesive deco kit covers the bike. The fairings are left as they are, allowing you to design your own kit, with your team, your sponsors and according to your needs.
A new LED headlamp system is integrated into the headlamp plate of the 450 Rally, improving overall lighting by 33%. This illuminates the road all the way to the bivouac on long stages, and plays an essential role on early morning starts and in foggy conditions.

The single-cylinder engine is based on KTM's famous 450 cm3 SOHC 4-stroke engine. Designed for long, fast and technical rally stages, it delivers superior performance across the entire rev range. The 2025 model features a new SOHC cylinder head, reinforced clutch and gearbox, and the latest electronic fuel injection system. The redesigned SOHC cylinder head features new ports for enhanced performance. The single overhead camshaft activates four ultra-light titanium valves using extremely rigid DLC-coated rocker arms for maximum reliability.
The 450 Rally Replica 2025 features a new radiator concept. With two independent radiators instead of one, cooling is much more efficient, and the rider has a back-up radiator should one be damaged.
Equipped with an Akrapovic titanium exhaust system specially designed for rallying, the 450 Rally is ready to roar with the right tuning. The special hydroformed bottom section ensures maximum ground clearance and is ultra-light, for unrivalled performance.

Slimmer, more elegant and ready to tackle the most technical rally stages, the 450 Rally 2025 has been completely redesigned. New fairings, fuel tank and rally seat enhance ergonomics and comfort over long distances. This provides better ergonomics for the rider, who maintains perfect control in the upright position, thanks to the wide grip surfaces and great freedom of movement.
An all-new, extra-lightweight carbon-fiber GPS mount is protected behind the fairing and features a new, narrower instrument panel. This dramatically improves aerodynamics, reduces turbulence and rider fatigue when hurtling along the track at high speed. Warning lights are also cleverly integrated, illuminating when the front or rear tank reserve is activated.
The machine offers a total fuel volume of 35 liters. There are two 9-liter tanks at the front and a self-supporting 16-liter tank at the rear. All are controlled by two separate fuel pumps, which can be operated and accessed independently to feed the bike from either the front or rear tanks. This provides the rider with a back-up system and an additional means of monitoring fuel levels.
An all-new hydroformed, laser-cut and hand-welded frame forms the backbone of the new 450 Rally. Built to precisely calculated longitudinal flexibility and torsional parameters, the frame ensures first-rate rider feedback, energy absorption and straight-line stability, ideal for rallying. To achieve this, the rotating mass, the forged steering column connection and most of the frame tubes have been completely repositioned, and the tube thickness rethought, for maximum reliability and specific rigidity in high-stress areas. The frame features a striking, ultra-resistant epoxy coating, while the self-supporting 16-liter fuel tank at the rear has been doubled, as has the rear loop.

The 450 Rally 2025 is equipped with the latest WP Pro Components. At the front, a 48 mm WP XACT PRO 7548 closed-cartridge fork with sophisticated conical valve technology ensures top-level damping. The rear is equipped with a fully adjustable WP XACT PRO 7750 shock absorber. The suspension elements offer full adjustability, better damping and more bottom reserves for unrivalled stability.
An electric starter and a lightweight 4.5 Ah Li-Ion battery take care of starting the bike. Significantly lighter than a conventional lead-acid battery, the Li-Ion battery powers all the electronics and facilitates starting, particularly at low temperatures.
The bike incorporates a clever tool storage solution, with a space integrated into the engine cover for essential tools. As a result, riders have everything they need in case of trouble when they set off, without cluttering up their fanny packs.
Excel's ultra-strong black alloy wheels are coupled to cast aluminum hubs with lightweight spokes and steel nipples for maximum stability and durability. This combination has proved to be the best solution in intense rally racing on all types of terrain.
Brembo components guarantee total braking performance and reliability. The 300 mm front and 240 mm rear discs ensure superior stopping power, improve rider feel and overall control, instilling maximum confidence in all circumstances.
Production of the 450 Rally 2025 will be limited to 100 units.
