presentation of the 950 SUPER ENDURO R 2006

in Germany, the concept is called HP2, and it's a big potato version of the enduro. In Austria, KTM came up with the Super Enduro, a machine designed to rip up half a forest as you ride through it.

KTM 950 SUPER ENDURO R 2006 - 1KTM 950 SUPER ENDURO R 2006 - 1

kTM's approach was to start with the 950 Adventure and then adapt the equipment to make a very sporty version of the enduro. The aim: to provide extreme enduro riders with a machine that uproots trees as they pass by, and incidentally, to take the piss out of the BMW HP2. To achieve this, the machine retains only the essentials and modifies the superfluous: tank reduced to 13 L and now made of plastic, fairing removed, Akrapovic pot, enduro suspension, adapted seat. While we're at it, we replace the wheels with Excell TT spoked rims surrounded by studded tires, remove a brake disc, add an engine block, give it a killer face and you get an authentic lumberjack bike. A 98-strong enduro weighing 185 kg. Gentlemen, it's your turn!

Prix de la belle ?
French Narstene Model 2007
Hello I would like to know the price of the Ktm enduro 950 r7 Rating : 5/5
French Model 2006
Quite a frame. I don't have the leisure of owning one, but I had the pleasure of trying it out. First of all, the bike is very tall, even at 1.80 m, the step is high. Then there's the surprising 108hp. On pavement, it's almost as playful as its sister, the 950SM, but the braking is less radical, which is just as well. The riding position is very upright and relatively comfortable. In its element, the trail, it feels much lighter than expected, 185kg off-road being quite something. The suspension is surprisingly hard, until you get it off the ground, and that's not difficult. Then it shows its flexibility. Having so much power allows you to stay in the same gear and achieve indecent acceleration. With a minimalist luggage rack and a 20L fuel tank, this bike would be very close to perfection. From a non-competitive or everyday use point of view, it's more versatile than the 950SM. I can't imagine this machine being used in competition. The Super Enduro will certainly find a home in Quebec, where trails and forest roads are measured in hundreds of kilometers. The price has turned me off, but the path to acquisition is gradually being mapped out. A lumberjack's bike, perhaps, but he'd better think fast if he wants to keep up with his mount. Rating : 5/5
