presentation of the SUPERDUKE 990 RR 2006

powerful, virile, muscular, with a hell of a face and a hell of a twin, the Superduke is not for kids. Not enough for you? No problem, KTM will fix that. All you have to do is opt for the RR version, equipped with a copious racing kit: carbon parts all over the place (wheels, mudguards, clutch and ignition housings,...), Akrapovic exhausts, new suspensions - the fork springs are stiffer and the rear shock raises the bike by 15 mm - , revised mapping, steering damper, and as you're not wise, a few slicks for serious play, Pirelli SC1, SC2, and SCR 2 (rain), a reverse gear kit and Racing DOT 4 brake fluid. With all this kit, the Superduke's weight plummets to 168 kg in running order (but with the tank empty, i.e. approximately 179 kg wet). I'll leave you to imagine the potential, especially as the beast will easily gallop a little more horsepower with its unleashed breath.

And even on the photo, it's not the real RR! it has a different fork and shock absorber (here you can't see the steering damper) and the carbon parts are clearly visible. in short, you can't help but drool over it, it's so cool! I had one in the dealership where I work for 15 days, and you're still amazed when you see it up close. To get the same model from a "basic" superduke, you'll have to spend around €8,000 (without the carbon wheels, €3,500 for 2!!!), so take note, wealthy tuning enthusiasts! Rating : 5/5
