this very exclusive tracker is back for 2013, with just one imperative: Ready to race! That's the KTM slogan. And it couldn't be more appropriate for this track version of the sporty RC8. The 1190 RC8 R track is a pure track tool, designed for nothing else. You don't even need to remove the road fittings... There isn't any. This bike has been designed for the track only, and can be entered as is in an FIM Superstock championship; it's homologated for it. There's no need for headlights, treaded tires or passenger footrests. With the equipment it comes with, you can set a lap time straight after you buy it. To get the most out of its big 180 hp twin (a hefty handful more than the RC8 R), the RC8 R Track features racing suspension from White Power, forged Marchesini wheels, Brembo monobloc radial brake calipers, slicks, Akrapovic exhaust, a set of racing parts from the KTM PowerParts racing department (including a shifter, a special head gasket, a new wiring harness, etc.), a weight reduced to 173 kilos (9 less), and a race-ready orange-white fairing - all you have to do is put your sponsors and a race number on it.
