presentation of the 450 SX-F Factory 2017
To be able to express their full talent, champions demand the ultimate in equipment. That's exactly why the 2017 KTM SX Factory edition models are the weapons of choice for KTM factory teams around the world. Thanks to targeted improvements based on the KTM SX-F models, the Factory edition versions are transformed into premium cross-country bikes, benefiting from the latest equipment. These real "winning machines" are available in very limited numbers. Top of the line.
The KTM 450 SX-F Factory edition has led Red Bull KTM rider Ryan Dungey to a brilliant campaign of racing success over the past two seasons. As a result, the American rider has won back-to-back 2015 and 2016 AMA Supercross championships, in addition to the 2015 AMA Pro Motocross championship!
The 2017 SX Factory edition models have been designed to establish themselves as the most READY TO RACE bikes in their class. Availability is limited in some countries, such as the USA, Canada and Mexico.
On the KTM 450 SX-F Factory edition, the compact SOHC engine efficiently delivers its explosive power to the ground, thanks to traction control, starting assistance and two choices of injection mapping. The WP AER 48 fork and redesigned monoshock further enhance the masterly handling of this cross-country machine, while an Akrapovic titanium exhaust drastically reduces weight. The whole package is enhanced by CNC-machined fork crowns in an anodized orange finish, D.I.D. DirtStar rims and a Factory-look orange frame, not to mention Red Bull KTM Factory Racing replica decorations. In short: the key to racing success at every level of competition.
