KTM's next machine for explorers can't hold still any longer and is desperate to show itself off, even without its definitive deco or specifications. KTM was keen to preview the 2019 vintage of its KTM 790 Adventure R at the EUROPEAN Adventure RALLY held from June 20 to 22, 2018.

powered by a parallel twin and developed in conjunction with the KTM 450 Rally (the ultimate Dakar weapon), this new Adventure bridges the gap between KTM's Enduro and Street models for 2019.

the first 150 KTM Adventure candidates to register had the chance to discover the pre-production version of the 790 Adventure R. The official presentation of this model gave Katoche staff the opportunity to provide background information on the unique positioning of this machine. One of the discipline's leading specialists, Chris Birch (eight-time New Zealand enduro champion, three-time winner of the Roof of Africa and 2010 winner of the Red Bull Romaniacs, among others), was able to pilot this new mid-size trail bike during the event.
