pGO was founded in Taiwan in 1964
A partnership agreement with the Italian PIAGGIO group enabled PGO to acquire real know-how in scooter production, making it No. 1 in Taiwan, selling millions of units.
Then, in 1985, PGO set off on its own, creating its own models.
In 1990, for the first time in France, a Taiwanese brand appeared on the scooter market. PGO soon took 4th place in the French scooter market with the STAR 50 and 80.
PGO is the first to launch a scooter with a disc brake and its famous COMET 50.
1994 PGO also becomes the first brand in the world to obtain the invaluable ISO 9001 production qualification in the 2-wheel sector, underlining PGO's commitment to QUALITY.
In 1995, PGO launches the BIG MAX, the brand's best-seller, which continues its career today after numerous modifications.
PGO is crowned Italian All-Terrain Scooter Champion.
In 1997, PGO becomes French Endurance Scooter Champion.
World SuperSport champion pilot Sébastien Charpentier, who began his career on a scooter, is crowned PGO champion in the famous "Paris Scoot" race.
PGO took part in the TRANSAFRICA Buggy race 3 times in 2009/2010/2012, winning three times in the buggy category and finishing in the top 10 overall.
PGO wins races in the French SSV championship in the Buggy category, without any specific preparation, with almost original machines, and makes a name for itself again in the Baja in 2013.
Bought out in 2007 by a very powerful financial group in Taiwan, PGO is committed to Excellence and Quality.
Winner of several awards in Taiwan, PGO is fast becoming one of the world's leading brands. The demanding US market is no exception, with PGO ranked 3rd in the scooter market.
