1953 is one of the most memorable years in the company's history: A new building is inaugurated on the factory site, creating new capacity for increased production. at the same time, Alfred Lienhard - an avid motorcyclist and driver who successfully competes in national and international races - realizes one of his new projects: he launches the manufacture of mopeds. To find a name for the moped, he organizes a competition among his employees. The result, LISTA (for Lienhard Stahlbau), not only adorned the mopeds, but became the brand name for all products. Nearly 600 vehicles rolled off the production line in just a few months. However, foreign competition soon became fierce, and LISTA moped production was forced to cease once again.
