liveWire was originally the name of Harley-Davidson's first electric motorcycle, to be launched in 2019. In 2021, the famous Milwaukee brand decided to make it a brand in its own right. It will be 100% electric, with the aim of being the most attractive in the sector. LiveWire will thus be able to offer motorcycles that break away from Harley traditionalism and its immutable codes. Synergy will nevertheless be at the heart of the business, as LiveWire will benefit from MoCo's network and financial strength; while the innovations and technologies developed by LiveWire will be applicable to Harley-Davidson models.
