The clutch may malfunction due to the properties of the anti-rust oil used by the supplier of the clutch plates, which may result in excessive adhesion between the steel plates and the clutch friction plates. When the clutch lever is actuated and the gear engaged, the vehicle may move unexpectedly and the rider may lose control of the motorcycle, creating a risk of accident and injury.
